Aida is a passionate (translated ‘loud’) designer devoted to building simple, clean, and effective web and print solutions. She spends part of her time as Web Interaction Designer at the University of British Columbia, a role that balances visual, UX/UI and interaction design. On easy days she makes time to be a freelance designer at Pixel Salad Studio.
Aida has crafted web, digital and print assets for higher education institutions such as the University of British Columbia, the University of Melbourne, and the University of Guelph, as well as multinational companies and NGOs. Aida works closely with clients worldwide, speaks their language while accurately capturing their ideas and helping them translate their needs into achievable technical goals and engaging visual experiences.
If left unattended, you might find her pretending to be a rocket scientist, magician or surgeon (at a comedy improv workshop).
